3 Reasons Why the Sharks will Take It

It won't be the first time a shark will have surprised an Australian sportsman.

1. It’s all sheets to the wind, old chum! We go into the competition without the pressure of massive expectations on us. This will allow us to play a more expressive brand of rugby that will showcase the immense talent we have at our disposal. Tally ho!

2. We are flying under the radar this year. Opposition teams will be focusing their pre-season preparations on combatting the challenges that red herrings like the Lions and the Hurricanes pose. We Sharks can catch a lot of teams off-guard playing a game no-one expected from us. Because that’s what sharks do – bite your balls off when you least expect it.

3. We start our campaign with two relatively easy matches in Australia. After that we play all our matches in South Africa, bar one trip to Singapore later on to go pick up a guaranteed five log points. Rugby campaigns are all about momentum, and the Sharks’ fixtures list has wikkel written all over it.

It’s a sure thing.
